Organization description: IAG Service Corporation (IAGSC) – The IAGSC mission is to provide administration and support to the member toll agencies and companies in the operation of the E-ZPass program. The E-ZPass Program is the largest interoperable toll collection program in the world consisting of toll agencies/companies in 20 states, servicing more than 35 million accounts, 59 million toll tags and the collection of over $14.5 billion dollars in electronic toll revenues.

The IAGSC staff is a small, dynamic tightly knit team dedicated to providing exceptional service in every aspect of our responsibilities.

THIS IS A REMOTE WORK POSITION: The successful candidate must have the ability to work remotely and must possess the skills and traits necessary to excel in a remote work environment.

Business Manager

Salary Range: $65,000 – $80,000 / year depending on experience

Position Description: The Business Manager is an integral part of the IAGSC. The position has a leadership role in managing a number of initiatives and will be working with and communicating with the various E-ZPass committees to completion. We are seeking self-driven candidates with experience in finance and budgeting, developing work plans, coordinating work efforts with key stakeholders and overall management of initiatives. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A strong financial background and experience in managing financial programs and budgets
  • Experience in managing contracts
  • Experience in coordinating and building consensus among various groups
  • Strong skills with office productivity software
  • Ability to travel as needed (about 4-6 times a year, for approximately 2-3 days per trip. Up to 10% annually)
  • Proactive, tenacious, problem-solving mindset
  • General experience in the tolling industry

Primary Duties:

  • Prepare and Maintain the Annual Budget
    • Prepare and Maintain budgets for the IAG and IAGSC
    • Track key financial metrics against workstreams and contracts
  • Manage Third-Party Participant (3PP) Program
    • Receiving and prepping for approval of all applicants
    • Obtaining approvals from committees
    • Verifying License Agreement and related fees/transactions
    • Reviewing and verifying reports
  • Manage Non-Toll Opportunities (NTO) Program
    • Receiving and prepping for approval of all applicants
    • Obtaining approvals from committees
    • Verifying License Agreement and related fees/transactions
    • Reviewing and verifying reports
  • Manage on-call contracts
    • Maintaining contractual dates and scopes of work
    • Tracking approvals, invoices and expenditures
  • Manage agency rebilling for VPN
    • Obtaining information & supporting documentation from Technology Manager
    • Creating and sending invoices to agency members
    • Tracking payments and sending reminders
  • Manage/gather/report IAG statistics
    • Sending monthly data requests to member agencies
    • Entering information into IAG data statistics spreadsheet
    • Tracking Home and Away ETC transactions
    • Creating charts/graphs of different statistics
  • Support IAG staff and IAG committees as assigned
  • Serve as the primary back up to the Office Manager

Secondary Duties:

  • Employee time reporting
  • Payroll processing
  • Invoice processing
  • Website content support
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work independently on dedicated workstreams and be self-managed
  • Ability to travel (up to 10% annually)
  • (Preferred) bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in positions in Finance, Tolling, Transportation, Project Management or related area; OR 5 years’ experience in progressively responsible positions in Finance, Tolling, Transportation, Project Management or related area
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, ability to create reports
