NYC Tollbooths Are "Going Way of Dinosaur"
Long Island Business News reports, “Toll booths themselves will soon be phantoms around New York City.” The report adds, “Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Thursday said that cashless tolling will be installed on all Metropolitan Transportation Authority bridges and tunnels by the end of this year. Cuomo said cashless tolling has saved customers an estimated 860,000 hours in ‘cumulative commuting time’ from January to May of this year.”
