DRJTBC Completes Second Phase Of Critical New Hope-Lambertville Bridge Repair
The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission (DRJTBC) announced Friday that the New Hope-Lambertville Toll-Supported Bridge’s temporary closure may end sooner than expected following the replacement of a rusted and deformed pin that was compromising the structural integrity of a span. The agency said it’s now optimistic that the 120-year-old crossing could reopen for pedestrians and vehicular traffic bound for Pennsylvania sooner than the original target date of January 27.
