NHDOT To Provide Updates, Solicit Feedback On Everett Turnpike Widening
Manchester Ink Link reports, “The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) will attend a public meeting hosted by NH State Senator Shannon Chandley [D-11] to update citizens and public officials on the NHDOT Project 13761 which will widen the [F.E.Everett Turnpike] to three lanes from Nashua to Bedford.” In addition to widening three segments of the turnpike between the two cities, contractors will replace four bridges. Bridge railing rehabilitation, stormwater treatment improvements and noise barriers also are part of the project. The in-person meeting takes place tomorrow, October 4, at 6:00 PM, in the Matthew Thornton Room of Merrimack Town Hall. (TRN inserted a link in quoted text.)
Patch (Bedford, NH) reported in late July that the $246 million project has several phases that are in different stages of execution or development.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) announced that more than $38 million in toll credits were posted to the accounts of 1.1 million eligible transponder holders for the month of July, and nearly $40 million was credited to 1.2 million accounts in the month of August, as part of the state’s year-long Toll Relief Program. Customers driving two-axle vehicles who have at least 35 Florida toll transactions on their accounts at the end of a calendar month receive an automatic 50 percent credit from the state. To date, the program has provided more than $300 million in credits.
