NTTA Urges More Customers To Get A Transponder

WFAA reports, the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) is making a pitch for more customers to open a TollTag account following its announcement that the premium for paying tolls by mail will soon double. When the authority’s next biennial rate adjustment takes effect on July 1, TollTag holders will face a modest increase (just one cent more per mile). However, “ZipCash” customers will start paying twice the TollTag rate, instead of an additional 50 percent.
