TCA's Samuel Johnson Receives IBTTA Leadership Award
IBTTA announced that Samuel Johnson, interim CEO of the Transportation Corridor Agencies and this year’s IBTTA president, has received the Contagious Leadership Award from the organization’s Leadership Academy Alumni Association. “Samuel is the first graduate of the [academy] to reach the position of president. He’s the right person to hold the honor. He has an infectious sense of leadership and truly is a driver in our association and the industry as we strive for continued success,” said Patrick D. Jones, IBTTA’s chief executive. “It’s challenging to be a leader during uncertain times – especially in transportation and tolling when the public is largely being asked to stay off the roads due to a pandemic. Samuel rises to challenges, confronts them whole-heartedly and inspires others to do the same.”
