WSFA reports, emergency management officials allowed Dozier Road and the Emerald Mountain Expressway toll bridge to reopen yesterday at noon. The facilities were closed last week due to Tallapoosa River flooding around Montgomery, Alabama.

NJ.com reports, “The lack of major snow and ice storms this winter is translating to a big fat ‘ka-ching’ for agencies such as the state Department of Transportation and the New Jersey Turnpike Authority when compared to the same period in 2019.” The article notes that NJTA has spent more on response to weather conditions this winter than it did during the comparable period of last year, but its expenditures are still well under budget.
