NJ.com reports, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey is “working on a plan to have cashless tolls in place at the George Washington Bridge, Holland and Lincoln tunnels by the time New York City starts congestion pricing below 60th Street in Manhattan in 2021. ‘We are putting together plans and recommendations for the board (of commissioners) for cashless tolling at Hudson River crossings,’ said Rick Cotton, Port Authority executive director, after a board meeting in New York City [yesterday].”
