Roadside Safety Services RFP — Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA)

The Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority (CTRMA) is seeking proposals from firms or teams interested in providing roadside safety services on their roadways, including assisting with minor mechanical issues (flat tires, dead batteries, overheating), providing fuel for vehicles that run out of gas, clearing debris from roadways, assisting with traffic control at incident scenes, contacting towing services or emergency vehicles when needed, and helping motorists get to safety.

The authority’s request for proposals and appendices (login required) were posted on CIVCAST on July 31, 2026.

A mandatory Pre-submission Conference is scheduled via Microsoft Teams for August 5, 2026, at 11:00 AM Central. Vendors can attend via the web or or telephone to ask questions to clarify any uncertainties that they may have. Oral answers given at the conference represent a good faith effort to provide useful information; however, any verbal responses provided at the conference shall not be deemed to have altered or revised this RFP document unless a formal amendment is issued. The deadline to submit RFP responses via CIVCAST is September 24, 2026. CTRMA expects to schedule vendor interviews in early November and select a vendor on or about November 18. It anticipates issuing a notice to proceed in  January 2027.
