Florida DOT Announces A New Schedule Of M-CORES Public Events

Florida DOT announced that each of the three M-CORES Program task forces will reconvene this week, the Northern Turnpike Corridor group tomorrow morning, the Southwest-Central Florida Corridor group on Wednesday morning (September 23), and the Suncoast Corridor group on Thursday morning (September 24). The announcement notes that the meetings will again be conducted in a hybrid format, meaning members of the public may either view them online or go to locations where FDOT will host broadcasts of the virtual proceedings.

FDOT also announced it will host a series of virtual and in-person Community Open Houses where the public can “view displays, speak to project staff and submit handwritten comments” on the M-CORES Program. The Northern Turnpike Corridor event is scheduled for this Wednesday evening. Two Southwest-Central Florida Corridor evening events are slated, one on Thursday of this week, the second on Tuesday, September 29. A Suncoast Corridor open house will take place on Tuesday evening, September 29.
