Biden Appoints Members Of Advisory Council On Critical Infrastructure Security

The White House announced Wednesday that President Biden intends to appoint 26 “highly qualified and diverse industry and government leaders” as members of the President’s National Infrastructure Advisory Council (NIAC), the body that advises the administration on reducing  physical and cyber risks and improving the security and resilience of critical US infrastructure sectors. Over the past two decades, NIAC has conducted studies on, among other things, improving intelligence information sharing, identifying and reducing complex cyber risks, and preparing for and responding to system disruptions. Biden chose Abedayo Ogunlesi, chairman and CEO of Global Infrastructure Partners, to chair the council.
