Canada Will Keep Its Border Closed Until US Improves COVID-19 Management

USA Today reports, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada is committed to keeping its US border closed past October 21 and until the United States gets the COVID-19 epidemic under control. “The U.S. is not in a place where we would feel comfortable reopening those borders,” he told interviewers on Wednesday. Trudeau also advised the country’s “snowbirds” to stay home, citing health risks in the US and medical insurance coverage issues.
