Georgia's SRTA Sees Toll Traffic Begin To Pick Up

WSB reports, “Georgia’s toll revenue through the Peach Pass program is now down by an estimated $12.3 million, according to the head of the state’s road and tollway authority. That’s a 28% dip, with other states experiencing anywhere between 50% and 90% in toll traffic and revenue loss since March.” On a positive note, SRTA’s Chris Tomlinson, tells WSB, “We’re starting to see the return (of toll traffic). The question for us is really one of how long the recovery will really span over.”

Mackinac Bridge Traffic Was Occasionally Heavy Over The Holiday Weekend

WPBN reports, “If you crossed the Mackinac Bridge this weekend, you probably ended up having to wait in line.” Kim Nowack, executive secretary of the bridge authority, commented that normal summertime traffic volume is starting to return on Fridays and Sundays despite the COVID-19 epidemic.
