Driscoll Letter Urges Drivers to Get a New York E-ZPass

Syracuse.com publishes New York Thruway chief executive Matthew Driscoll’s letter exhorting central state motorists to get a New York E-ZPass. “E-ZPass is for everyone,’ he writes, “and there are discount plans to match your needs, regardless of how often you travel on the Thruway. Additionally, you do not have to be a New York resident to have a NY E-ZPass.” Driscoll also reminds drivers they will need a transponder to avoid paying the Tolls by Mail surcharges and elevated rates the authority proposes to put into effect in 2021.
