FDOT Suspends Garcon Bridge Tolling For A Fifth Month
Florida DOT Secretary Kevin Thibault directed Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise to extend the toll suspension in effect for the Garcon Point Bridge through February 11, 2021. (Tolls were originally lifted during September’s Hurricane Sally, but extensions have been ordered because of storm damage to the nearby Pensacola Bay Bridge, which remains closed to traffic.)
Governor Ron DeSantis yesterday extended the Hurricane Sally declaration of emergency and his related executive orders by an additional 60 days.

Trips of between 50 and 500 miles increased, but local travel and trips of over 500 miles declined.
