TransCore Awarded Two ITS Maintenance Contracts in Florida

TransCore announced that FDOT has selected it to carry out two Intelligent Transportation System maintenance contracts totaling $40 million over the next five years. In TransCore’s news release, Tim Fischer, Senior Vice President of ITS Services, notes, “For over 20 years, TransCore has proudly partnered with FDOT districts to provide motorists with a reliable, first-class ITS infrastructure that meets the needs of one of the fastest growing states in the country.”

Accident Closes Delaware Memorial Toll Bridge for 30 Minutes during Morning Commute

NJ.com reports, “A rear-end collision caused a fire which destroyed a van and briefly shutdown one span of the Delaware Memorial Bridge Tuesday morning causing a major traffic snarl, officials said.”
