Registration For New AASHTO Leadership Programs Will Open Soon

AASHTO Journal reports that the association “plans to open 2021 registration soon for its brand new leadership develop[ment] series, revamped under a new contract with the University of Kansas signed in October 2020. AASHTO’s 2021 leadership development series includes three newly renamed leadership development institutes – the AASHTO Management Institute (AMI), the AASHTO Leadership Institute (ALI) and the AASHTO Executive Institute (AEI) – that feature more intentional progression and linkage between them. The new series also harmonizes and modernizes the curriculum to ensure alignment with the changing workforce needs of AASHTO’s members.”

PA Turnpike Starts Three-Day Tunnel Cleaning Project

Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports, “Motorists on the Pennsylvania Turnpike could face some delays in Somerset County for three days beginning [this morning] while crews perform maintenance and clean both sides of the Allegheny Tunnel. As a result of the work, one tunnel will be closed and the other will have two-way traffic.”
