The Maryland Transportation Authority announced that its administration building at the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel toll plaza will remain closed today as health officials continue to “test for possible sources of legionellosis [Legionnaires disease]. In addition, the MDTA will proactively treat water systems at the facility. The duration of the building closure is unknown at this time. . . .” MDTA said tunnel tolls are being collected in the normal manner, except that video tolling is taking place in the lanes usually reserved for cash collection.
