A leading French specialist in system integration, Francois Xavier Ott has arrived on the American tolling scene. Recently appointed President & CEO of Long Island NY-based TDC Inc, the wholly owned US subsidiary of CS Route, Ott comes from Grenoble where he was Commercial Director of GEA (Grenoble d”Electronique et d’Automatismes). GEA is the top system integrator of toll equipment in Europe. TDC supplies a line of French toll machinery but is increasingly going after system integration contracts. They are currently working on projects at the Golden Gate bridge and the Ohio Turnpike. Ott has a knockout gorgeous wife of British extraction. They are building a new home on Long Island Sound. He says he likes the English-speaking world and is planning to settle in the US. The group in Roslyn Heights NY also does business as InTrans. Ott succeeds John Thompson. Kris Wuestefeld, son of the famous Norman W, recently retired chair of the board of WSA, is #2 to Ott.
