Boston Herald reports, “The state’s highway czar is warning the driving public that the upcoming demolition of two dozen Mass Pike toll plazas stretching from New York state to the Ted Williams Tunnel will snarl traffic — particularly during the rush-hour commutes — as crews work around the clock for a solid month. ‘“People need to be smart,”’ MassDOT Highway Administrator Thomas J. Tinlin told the Herald yesterday.”
